What to carry in the baby bag

With experience, you learn that there are essential things that we should carry in the baby bag when we go for a walk or when we have a short outing; There are also some things that are not necessary to bring, even if you are tempted to do so. When preparing the baby bag we must carry the really necessary objects and not overload ourselves with things that in the end we are not going to use and take up space.

So here we leave you the list of things:

Essential Things:

  1. Diaper changing table: You should make sure to keep it in your bag or buy a spare one and leave it in your bag for outings, so you won't forget it.
  2. Diapers : You must carry the necessary amount depending on the number of hours the outing lasts, normally for a short outing you usually take 5 diapers. Since the baby uses approximately 8 diapers a day.
  3. Wet wipes: Carry the wet wipes in an airtight bag so that they do not take up so much space in the bag, these wipes will also be used to clean the baby's hands.
  4. Change of clothes: You should bring a complete change of clothes for the baby in case they get dirty. (A trick is to wear pajamas that take up less space than a set of clothes).
  5. Small garbage bags: Carry about 5 bags that will be used to throw away the diaper or store the clothes in case they get dirty.
  6. Bibs: Carry 3 bibs so that their clothes do not get stained, normally the baby gets the bibs dirty with reflux or with his drool when his teeth start to come out.
  7. A thermometer: it takes up little space and can clear up doubts in case the child is a little hot.
  8. A small brush : to be able to comb it.
  9. Cuete cream : to be able to hydrate him when you change his diaper.
  10. Pacifiers : Carry at least one pair in case it gets dirty or lost.

List of additional things depends on the season and occasion:

  1. Hat and sunscreen: To protect you from the sun.
  2. Blanket : To cover it if it is small and it is still cold.
  3. Small toy : If the trip is long to keep him entertained.
  4. Baby repellent : If you go to a place where there are mosquitoes.
  5. Bottle and thermos of warm water: If he drinks formula, or as a complement to his breast milk, you can carry a jar with small amounts of formula milk, a bottle and your small thermos so that you can prepare the necessary feedings.
  6. Snack for the baby: If the baby is already eating, you can bring him some baby cookies and/or baby food prepared without preservatives depending on the hours the outing lasts.

Things not to bring:

  1. Many diapers: You should bring the necessary amount depending on the period of time they are outside. You will not use more than the amount you use at home.
  2. Large toys: They will only take up a lot of space, preferably bring a small one that is entertaining for your baby.
  3. Many blankets: Preferably bring a single blanket that is thick or thin depending on the season.

And what do you have in your bag?
